Here at gwenrightnutrition, we believe in a whole body approach. That is, nutrition is only part of the whole that makes you healthy. Integrative medicine, alternative medicine, and complimentary therapies all work together.
We work closely with a number of practitioners, and work on a referral system - for example a client may present with symptoms that may suggest further treatment is necessary from a GP, or counsellor, we may also feel that the body could benefit from a treatment from an osteopath or a session of homeopathy. As the focus is on families, there is also a lactation consultant we collaborate with, as breastfeeding can be full of challenges and support is vital for your breastfeeding journey.
On the right are practitioners that we recommend. Please mention gwenrightnutrition should you contact any of them. Below are short bios for you to read.

Samantha Sherrington, Osteopath
'I have been a registered Osteopath treating all members of the family since 2004. Having practiced in Australia and Ireland, with patients ranging from newborns to the elderly, equestrians and their horses, and the occasional family pet, I use a wide range of osteopathic techniques to suit the individual and their unique problems. Osteopathy is a thorough manual therapy modality which can help relieve all types of pain and limitations in movement. I have particular interest in helping improve the performance of horse riders, as well as a growing interest in women and children’s health since the birth of my daughter Hannah in 2013.
So, if theres a niggling pain or a limited movement that has been bothering you, if your riding position is a bit lopsided or just hard work, or if you and your baby just need a bit of extra physical TLC after the rigours of bringing them into the world, give me a call on 087-146 7679 or email at sam@centaurusosteo.com'

Deirdre Morris,

'I am a qualified Homeopath and a registered member of The Irish Society of Homeopaths. I am a graduate of the Irish School of Homeopathy.
My practice is situated near Rathangan, County Kildare.
Homeopathy is a safe, gentle, non-invasive system of medicine that uses naturally occurring substances in the form of remedies to stimulate the body’s own healing power. It is suitable for everyone from infants, through childhood and adolescence to adulthood and older age. For further information and appointments phone 086 6073031'.

Rosemarie Bryson, Yoga instructor
"Yoga like diet are ways we can take our health into our own hands and become responsible for our overall health.
Yoga helps us to move, breathe and circulate better thereby opening the way for all the organs to function better. It can aid sleep, combat fatigue and reduce stress to name but a few.
What better way to improve your overall health !
No special equipment is required, just the desire to do. A good place to start if you have not practiced yoga before is with a weekly class suitable for beginners. No particular level of fitness is necessary for a beginners class.
